PP geotextile
PP geotextile
High Tenacity Coarse Denier Polypropylene Spunbond Needle Punched Geotextiles
Polypropylene spunbond needle punched geotextile is an important high-performance geosynthetics. This material plays an important role in the construction of irrigation works, hazardous waste landfill, tailings, the airport, high-speed railway and so on. It was listed in the technology research plan of National Ministry of science and technology during 9th Five-Year Plan period. But, up to now, it was still in the lab. With four years of research, TDF overcomes the technical difficulties and successfully to be the first company owing the production technology of Polypropylene spunbond needle punched geotextile in China. The success of the project put an end to the history of dependence on imported Polypropylene spunbond needle punched geotextiles in China.
Equipments And Technics
TDF established a wholly owned subsidiary--TDF Polypropylene Materials Technology CO., LTD in 2015. TDF spent 730 million RMB imported 4 production lines which is designed& produced by FARE' S.p.A. in Italy. The production capacity is 320,000 tons. Product performance is far higher than the national standard GB/T17639-2008 .
With the advanced spinning equipment, the filament fineness can reach more than 11 dtex, strength can reach more than 3.5 g/d. With homogeneous random fibrous structure, the product performance is more uniform and stable than traditional nonwoven geotextiles.
Characteristics of Polypropylene Spunbond Needle Punched Geotextile
(1)Light in weight. Density of polypropylene products is 0.91 g/cm3 (polyester is 1.38 g/cm3), so the polypropylene geotextile has a larger coverage area of the same quality geotextile under the same strength as the polyester geotextile.
(2)Good chemical stability. Polypropylene has excellent acid and alkali resistance, especially alkali resistance is superior to polyester. Polyester geotextiles are prone to irreversible hydrolysis under alkaline conditions or in the presence of large amounts of water, resulting in a loss or even complete loss of material properties, especially for areas that are in direct contact with alkaline interfaces such as cement, lime, and saline-alkali, while polypropylene Geotextiles are fully applicable to the above environment and do not pollute the environment.
(3)High mechanical properties. Polypropylene spunbonded needle-punched geotextile is made up of continuous polypropylene filaments. The tensile fracture form of the fabric is mainly the fiber breakage, while the staple fiber geotextile is mainly the extraction between the fibers. Therefore, strength, elongation and other mechanical properties of polypropylene spunbonded needle-punched geotextiles are better than staple fiber geotextile
(4)Good drainage performance. Polypropylene has excellent hydrophobicity, but has good water-conducting effect, and is superior to polyester in drainage engineering.
(5)The filtering effect is good. The polypropylene geotextile produced by our company can realize the compounding of different denier polypropylene non-woven fabrics, forming double-layer filtration and better filtering effect.
(6)Convenient construction. Polypropylene spunbond needle-punched geotextile has low needle density, soft and non-rigid cloth surface, and is more suitable for use. It is more convenient to lay and install.
